We are enjoying record breaking sales with continued growth – thank you to our customers for your support and trust in our business.

In a celebratory mood, last week the business enjoyed an evening picnic cruise on the Thames. Having boarded the MV Golden Slumbers – an elegant, electric Edwardian style electric launch – at Folly Bridge in the centre of Oxford, we meandered our way westward in the good hands of Captain Peter, who impressed us with his knowledge of the river, the city of Oxford, lock engineering and all things nautical.

Our chosen scenic route took us past Osney Mill Marina and Port Meadow, then as far as Wolvercote, encountering all kinds of river life including a number of Oxford college rowers, and expertly negotiating one of the river’s many locks. On the way back, after a comfort stop and a drink in the delightful pub The Punter, we proceeded past Folly Bridge, where Captain Peter showed us the iconic college boathouses as well as some of the old nooks and crannies of the city centre that are best seen from the river.

A lovely antidote to all the hard work we are putting in!
