Rotech Systems and Encoders manufactures rotary encoders and vibration sensors for mining equipment. When Rotech’s potting compound went obsolete, the search for a replacement led to a collaboration with electronics materials supplier Intertronics that yielded process improvements, a reliable order schedule, and nearly tripled annual sales from 1,500 to 4,000 units.

CSignum turned to Intertronics to protect its EM-2 subsea communication device. By using IRS 3071 polyurethane potting compound, the company overcame structural challenges, accelerated certification, and launched an environmentally safe alternative to cabled or acoustic methods.

Requiring a potting compound which could provide environmental protection to their high-powered outdoor LED lights, lighting manufacturer Venta Global selected IRS 3078 and a metering, mixing, and dispensing system to create a straightforward and repeatable process.

SebaKMT, part of the Megger Group, was the world’s first owner of a preeflow eco-DUO450. For nearly ten years, this metering, mixing and dispensing system has been reliably and accurately dispensing their Wacker SilGel 612 silicone gel potting compound onto the parts for the noise measurement instruments they manufacture.
