One of the perks of working at Intertronics is the opportunity to take a paid day off each year to volunteer for a good cause. Swapping their usual work tools for trowels and wheelbarrows, Conor, Leila and Steve put that time to good use by heading to Restore – our charity of 2025 – to spend the day supporting their Didcot hub.
Restore is an Oxford-based mental health charity that helps people take positive steps in their recovery through coaching, skills-building, and connection. One of their community hubs in Didcot not only includes a host of arts and crafts spaces, but includes a beautiful garden – a peaceful space where members can grow vegetables, plant flowers, and benefit from the wellbeing boost that comes with being outdoors.
Armed with gloves and gardening tools, our team helped with general maintenance – clearing paths, tackling weeds, and making sure the space stays welcoming and well cared-for. It was a hands-on day in the sunshine, supporting a place that plays an important role in many people’s mental health journey.
Thank you to Restore for having us – and to the Intertronics team for digging in (literally) and making a difference.
