About Fisnar F5000 Series 3-Axis Benchtop Gantry Dispensing Robots
The automation of any manual benchtop dispensing application can be easy to justify, with a quick return on investment (ROI).
The versatile Fisnar F5000 Series robots are compact and economically priced robots that can be used either as a benchtop or a gantry system.
The F5000 Series dispensing robots have work areas up to 2300 mm with a resolution accuracy of 0.001 mm/axis. They are a good solution for conveyor fed automation lines or installed into automated work cells. They are also advantageous when component weight or size prevent a conventional benchtop robot from being used.
The F5000 Series 3-Axis robots fall into two categories:
- F5000N.2 Series: short x-axis travel of either 200 mm or 300 mm
- F5000NB Series: long x-axis travel of either 1200 mm or 2300 mm
Using the teach pendant, these benchtop gantry dispensing robots support Fisnar’s industry-leading dispensing software and can store and retrieve up to 100 programs containing 50,000 points each. They have a three-axis design and are capable of interfacing with any Intertronics dispensing equipment.
The modular connectivity design of the Fisnar F5000 series offers an easy configuration with a number of add-on productivity accessories such as Tip Alignment Kit, Height Sensor and CCD Camera Vision System. Our in-house technical team are available to help you select the most efficient and cost-effective dispensing system for your application.
We are able to provide complete robotic dispensing systems to include any required dispensing valves and pumps, material feed reservoirs and robot safety enclosures. Dispensing equipment can be easily integrated with curing or surface preparation equipment to improve your process.
Our technical team are also able to design dispensing systems on request, please contact us for a full discussion of your requirements.
Features & Benefits
- Open access design allows easy loading and unloading of parts
- The Unitop™ place anywhere design is suitable for dispensing under the robot onto oversize and heavy components
- Separate control box reduces robot footprint and allows robot to be used in vacuum chamber and glovebox work environments with control via RS232
- Can be used as part of a conveyor fed automation installation for increased throughput
- Durable linear belt drive system for industrial applications
- Suitable for form-in-place gaskets, adhesives, potting, coating and filling
- Performs continuous path and point-to-point motions, including dots, lines, arcs and circles, with an axis repeatability +/- 0.02 mm
- Quick fluid-purge button located on the front panel of controller
- Software tip alignment routine for quick program offsets when changing dispensing tips
- Step-and-repeat functions – program one object only for multiple identical objects
- Available without Teach Pendant for multiple installations

F5000NB Long Travel Robots
The extended x-axis travel of the Fisnar F5000NB series 3-axis gantry dispensing robots offers a cost-effective way to dispense adhesives and other materials onto long narrow parts such as LED strip lights, turbine blades, or extruded parts.
With a work area up to 2300 mm x 300 mm and all moving axes above the work piece, loading and unloading long parts is easy. The tool load can be up to 2 kg.

Other Information
Programming the Fisnar F5000 Series dispensing robots is simple with easy to follow English language instructions. Programming and control can be carried out via teach pendant, RS232 port for remote operation, or proprietary offline robot PC software (sold separately) that allows for editing of robot programs plus a CAD import utility tool. There is a USB port for data transfer.
