About IUV104 CurePoint™ UV LED Spot Curing Lamp
The IUV104 CurePoint™ UV LED Spot Curing Lamp is a compact UV point source for controlled curing in precision bonding, coating and assembly applications in production, R&D and the laboratory.
Available in 365 nm, 385 nm and 405 nm wavelengths to match the absorption characteristics of your UV curable material, the IUV104 CurePoint delivers UV intensity up to 1,500 mW/cm². Interchangeable optics allow the UV spot size and intensity to be matched to the working distance and requirements of the process.
The UV LED is housed in a slim curing wand just 12 mm in diameter and weighing 20 g, making it easy to position where access around the assembly is limited. The wand can be mounted in a fixture for production use or used manually.
The IUV104 CurePoint is supplied as a complete package:
- UV LED curing wand (365 nm, 385 nm or 405 nm) with Window optic fitted as standard
- benchtop power supply/controller with digital timer
- connection cable
- footswitch
Large optic, Medium optic and Focus optics are available and simply screw onto the end of the wand, making it easy to change the UV light spot characteristics to suit the application. An additional UV LED curing wand can be added to the controller.
Choose the optic to suit your process
The IUV104 CurePoint is supplied with a Window optic, which provides the widest and most divergent light output. Three interchangeable optics are available when greater control of the curing area is required:
- Large optic provides a wide light spot
- Medium optic provides an intermediate spot
- Focus optic provides a smaller, more concentrated spot and maintains a relatively small curing area as working distance increases
The optic and working distance together determine both the diameter of the UV spot and the intensity reaching the workpiece. The charts below show the relationship between working distance, spot diameter and irradiance for the 365 nm version.
Specifying your IUV104 CurePoint UV LED Spot Curing Lamp
A complete IUV104 CurePoint package includes the UV LED curing wand fitted with the Window optic, benchtop power supply/controller with digital timer, connection cable and footswitch. Choose your required wavelength: 365 nm, 385 nm or 405 nm. If the standard window output does not suit the required curing area or working distance, Large, Medium and Focus optics are available as interchangeable options. Additional optics can also be ordered separately, allowing the same curing wand to be adapted for different processes.
The appropriate wavelength is primarily determined by the UV-curable material. Optic selection depends on the required curing area, intensity and working distance. Talk to us about your material and process and we can help select the appropriate configuration.

The IUV104 CurePoint UV LED Spot Curing Lamp is suited to applications requiring controlled UV curing over small, localised areas, including:

- PCB ruggedising and electronics assembly, including localised coating, encapsulation and component bonding
- Optics and photonics assembly
- Sensor and small component bonding
- Wire and component tacking
- Laboratory testing, prototyping and process development
The compact UV curing wand is particularly useful where access around the assembly is restricted or where UV needs to be directed onto a specific area. One or two curing wands can be connected to the benchtop controller, allowing UV to be applied at two points where required.
